What we noticed was on the way down from the peak we came to a very small junction. The large rocky road up continued down the mountain and my husband didn't even notice the Pacific Crest Trail crossing. To make things more confusing, the PCT is marked on the right (north) side and returning hikers should take the left (south)turn off. A sign showing "Cougar Crest Trail" with an arrow would help weary hikers avoid getting lost! Just a suggestion to consider. We are planning our for our next summit challenge!
