Big Bear Announced Host City for Amgen Tour of California

On October 22 it was officially announce that Big Bear Lake would be a finish stage for the Tour of California. The Amgen Tour of California is eight days long, May 16-23, 2010, and covers over 750 miles of gorgeous terrain throughout the state. On May 21, 2010 the sixth stage starts in Pasadena all the way to Big Bear Lake. After riding 50 plus miles the riders then start their near 10,000 feet climb up into beautiful Big Bear. With Big Bear being the first mountain-top finish ever in the tour’s history, this stage is bound to be a success towards the grueling finish line.
